Effective design of a parking lot layout is crucial to ensure functionality and safety for drivers. The first consideration is to create clearly defined parking spaces of ample width and length to accommodate the vehicle sizes expected at the location. Designated pedestrian walkways and crosswalks enhance safety for both drivers and pedestrians. Adding the proper number, size, and location of ADA handicap parking spaces is set by code.  Designating non-parking areas keeps traffic flowing.  By strategically placing signage, we can facilitate easy access to the parking lot while reducing the risk of traffic bottlenecks. Highway and parking lot signage is regulated by the Texas MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices).  All the signage we use complies with this code.

We use the latest equipment in the industry.  Laser guided striping ensures straight lines for new parking lots.  The machine measured stripes and spacing ensures uniform parking spaces.

Selecting the right materials for the job: Not all paint is created equal, and most is not intended for use in a parking lot or a highway where traffic can quickly deteriorate the paint.  Paint consists of a “solid” suspended in a “liquid”.  As the liquid evaporates, the solid remains adhered to the surface.  Water based and oil-based paints dry slowly while a solvent based paint evaporates quickly allowing traffic to return within minutes of application.  The type of solids that dissolve in water or oil are different from that which dissolve in a solvent and have different properties of color retention and durability.  Even within solvent based traffic paints, there is a wide range of available paint.  We use the Gorilla brand solvent-based traffic paint manufactured by Aexel Industries which is the most durable, and color retentive paint available.

Thermoplastic is a very durable marking that is used in high traffic areas such as intersections or turning lanes.  We can provide this option for your needs if requested.
